HOST A SCREENING OF QUEER CINEMA FOR PALESTINE – NO PRIDE IN GENOCIDE
Queer Cinema for Palestine (QCP) is looking for screening partners around the world to co-present this year’s QCP “No Pride in Genocide” event during the month of June 2025. Register by completing the form below.
NEW FORMAT
The third edition of QCP will provide you (free of charge) with a 90-min curated program of eight short films, as well as a recorded Q&A with the filmmakers, and QCP promo materials (posters, trailers, etc) that each screening host can adapt.
The program features stellar queer films in solidarity with Palestinians, denouncing Israel’s genocidal apartheid regime.
QCP PROVIDES THE PROGRAM, YOU PROVIDE THE VENUE
Your group can be a screening host by organizing your local audience on a date of your choice in June 2025.
We encourage you to bring together a wide array of partner groups to co-organize the screening in order to reach new audiences.
You can augment the program with local speakers/performers — make your QCP event your own, and relevant to your local community — while joining this collective global event of queer solidarity with Palestinians.
FILM PROGRAM
This year’s 90-minute program and filmmaker Q&A focuses on the work of queer, Palestinian, and allied artists, in historic Palestine, across the diaspora, and beyond. The program features a diverse mix of identities, lengths, styles and genres (doc-hybrid, experimental, fiction, and animation) to highlight the key role of art in resistance and the struggle for liberation.
BACKGROUND
Queer Cinema for Palestine started as a film festival in 2021, offering a hybrid ten-day program in thirteen cities around the world, celebrating Palestinian voices and queer solidarity with Palestinians and their liberation struggle.
In November 2023, we presented our second event “No Pride in Genocide,” with screenings in ten cities expressing solidarity with Palestinians in Gaza and across all of historic Palestine facing Israel’s genocide and underlying decades-long regime of military occupation and apartheid.
BDS? YES!
QCP supports the Palestinian-led Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) movement, in particular the call by the Palestinian Campaign for the Academic and Cultural Boycott of Israel (PACBI) to boycott the Israeli government-sponsored LGBTQ film festival, TLVFest.
Dozens of filmmakers have withdrawn their films from TLVFest and hundreds more have pledged not to submit to the Israeli government-sponsored festival.

QCP 2025
The excitement and power of Queer Cinema for Palestine 2025 will be in the range and diversity of all the partners on five continents, large and small: from museums and shebeens to theatres and DIYs.
