Film Festival 2023

Queer Cinema for Palestine Announces 2023 Dates

The festival will run from 29 November to 10 December, 2023

Queer Cinema for Palestine (QCP) is back with its second edition!

QCP 2023 will run from 29 November, International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People, through 10 December, Human Rights Day. The 12-day film festival will feature in-person and online events, from a dozen cities across the world.

QCP is a collectively curated global film festival celebrating queer realities and expressing solidarity with Palestinian queers and the Palestinian struggle for freedom, justice and equality.

QCP is a pioneering global collective solidarity initiative that offers artists and activists around the world a vibrant space to stand together with the Palestinian struggle, shedding light on the role of art and culture in resisting the ongoing violence of Israeli apartheid and settler-colonialism.

The festival will also feature some of the more than 50 filmmakers who have pulled their films from the Israeli government sponsored TLVFest in response to the boycott call from Palestinian queers. More than 200 filmmakers, film artists and scholars have pledged not to participate in TLVFest in a sign of growing rejection of Israeli pinkwashing and recognition of the intimate connections between liberation struggles of all oppressed peoples and communities.

The first edition made history. Join us for the second!
